Two cars collided on national road number 92 near Mińsk Mazowiecki. Both are completely destroyed. Four people were injured. An Air Ambulance helicopter landed on the scene and took a pregnant woman to hospital.
The accident occurred on Saturday, September 21, on national road number 92, in the town of Brzeziny, located in Mińsk County.
Six fire brigades, an ambulance and police intervened at the scene. According to the Volunteer Fire Department from Cisie, two passenger cars were involved in the incident. “Four people were injured,” the firefighters added.
“He drove into the opposite lane, collided with a Mitsubishi”
– For some reason, the driver of the off-road vehicle drove into the opposite lane, and collided with a Mitsubishi. Four people were injured. They sustained serious injuries, but were conscious. Two helicopters of the Air Ambulance Service were sent to the scene, but one was called off – Artur Węgrzynowicz, a reporter for tvnwarszawa.pl, learned.
– A woman in her sixth month of pregnancy was taken to the hospital by helicopter. She was traveling in a red Mitsubishi. Firefighters used hydraulic tools to pull her out of the car – the reporter described the rescue operation.
Two people in hospital
The police received a report of the incident on Saturday before 8 p.m. – Two vehicles collided: a Mitsubishi and a Suzuki. Two people were taken to hospital. They are a 37-year-old passenger in the Suzuki and a 28-year-old woman, traveling in the Mitsubishi – said Deputy Commissioner Jacek Wiśniewski from the Warsaw Police Headquarters.
The police also confirmed our reporter's findings. – Initial findings by police officers working at the scene indicate that the driver of the Suzuki, for unknown reasons, drove into the opposite lane and hit a Mitsubishi traveling in the opposite direction – added Wiśniewski.
