The problem of the Wizz Air plane flying from Burgas to Warsaw. According to the carrier, the machine was returned to the airport for technical reasons.
It is a W6 2857 flight. A Wizz Air plane, which left the Bulgarian Black Sea port of Burgas on Monday morning, to Warsaw, returned to the airport a few minutes after take-off. The airport management and representatives of Fraport, which manages it, did not provide an official reason for the return of the machine. The company said that the plane landed safely at the Bulgarian airport. Currently, the machine is to undergo “service inspections”.
The announcement added that to minimize the delay, the airline provided an alternate plane in Burgas. As the representative of Fraport informed PAP, the carrier provided another machine. The plane departed for Warsaw around 4.30 p.m. local time (3.30 p.m. Polish time).
“In line with Wizz Air’s policy and EU regulations, passengers were provided with refreshments at the airport, informed about their rights and possibilities and offered an alternative flight or a full refund,” Wizz Air informs.
At the same time, the airline apologized to all passengers for the inconvenience, explaining that the safety of passengers and crew is the carrier’s priority.
According to “Gazeta.pl”, the plane was turned back because of a collision with a bird.

Wizz Air has five bases in Poland, in: Warsaw, Katowice, Kraków, Gdańsk and Wrocław. The carrier operates a fleet of 141 Airbus A320 and A321 aircraft. The line is listed on the London Stock Exchange under the name WIZZ.
