Club World Championships, which this year take place in the United States in a changed formula (as many as 32 teams take part in the tournament for the first time), enter the last round of the group stage. On Monday we met the first decisions. We know group B teams that have advanced to the knockout phase. We also know who said goodbye to the tournament.

Before starting the struggle in the US, it seemed that PSG i Atletico Madrid is masonry favorites for promotion. After two queues, however, the situation was as follows. With a set of points, Botafogo was the first place, the others were Parisians, and the third Madrid – both teams won one match so far. Seattle Sounders occupied the last position – they have two defeats.
On Monday evening, both matches in group B began at the same time. At 21 Polish time playing at home Piurters Seattle Sounders took PSG, and in Los Angeles a clash of Atletico with Botafogo.
At the first goal of the evening you had to wait relatively long – to 35 minutes of the match in Seattle. Then the ball fell in front of the penalty area under the feet of Vitinhia, who hit technically, and on the way hit … in the back of the squares. The host goalkeeper was confused and the UEFA Champions League winners took the lead. At the same time, Julian Alvarez had an excellent chance to open the result in the second match, but he hit the goal in a good situation.
After changing sides, we saw a goal at the Seattle stadium again. Achraf Hakimi sealed the PSG win. Luis Enrique's players won 2: 0 and thanks to that they advanced to the next round.
The match in Los Angeles ended with the modest victory of Atletico. Antoine Griezmann hit the net in the 87th minute of the meeting with his left foot, but it was a farewell win for the Diego Simeone team.
Such results They mean that in the later phase of the tournament we will see Botafogo and Paris Saint-Germain. Atletico Madrid and Seattle Sounders say goodbye to the USA.
