There was a row in one of the polling stations in Bydgoszcz. The 71-year-old demanded that the election commission members remove the cross from the wall. When they refused, the man began to brawl, then left the place. The police are conducting proceedings in this case.

The incident occurred on Sunday in one of the polling stations in Bydgoszcz Bartodziejach.

– The 71-year-old demanded a photo from the wall of the cross, which was suspended in the polling station. The commission did not meet his request. The man began to brawl – told TVN24.pl Commissioner Lidia Kowalska from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Bydgoszcz.

The man went away before the arrival of a police patrol.

Police proceedings

The police explain this matter. – The proceedings will be conducted towards Article 51 of the Code of Offenses – explains Commissioner Kowalska.

Whoever shouted, noise, alarm or other freaks disturbed peace, public order, night rest or causes scandal in a public place, is punishable by arrest, restriction of liberty or a fine.
