Police: It is forbidden to overtake other vehicles on pedestrian crossings
Police officers remind people about the rules that apply when approaching pedestrian crossings and cyclists.
It is forbidden to overtake other vehicles on and directly in front of crossings, and to pass other cars that have stopped to give way to pedestrians. These are offences that often result in serious road accidents involving vulnerable road users.
