The accident occurred on Saturday on national road No. 10 near Bydgoszcz. The Honda driver was driving right behind the truck, suddenly swerved into the opposite lane and collided head-on with the Lexus.

As the officers initially determined, just before the accident, one of the drivers wanted to turn right at the head of the column of cars going straight. He slowed down, which forced other cars to brake.

– The preliminary findings of the policemen who worked at the scene showed that the driver of the Honda did not keep a safe distance from the vehicle in front, which is why when he braked (the car in front of him – ed.), he did not have time to brake and hit the rear of the Mercedes, and then drove onto the opposite side. traffic lane – says asp. Krzysztof Bratz from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Bydgoszcz.

As a result of the head-on collision, the Lexus overturned and the Honda drove to the side of the road. Four people were taken to hospital – including the passenger of the Honda, whose condition is serious.

The exact circumstances of the incident are still being investigated by the police.
