A 35-year-old man from Bydgoszcz was forced to drag two children, aged 8 and 10, into a car, and beat one of them, according to the police. This was about to happen when the boys tried to take the scooter from his son. The children managed to escape from the car, and the man was charged. As it turned out, this is a firefighter. The commander suspended him in his activities.
The incident took place on Wednesday in Bydgoszcz. We received the first information on Contact24, they were confirmed by the police. – There was a situation in which a 35-year-old man forcibly dragged into a car two minors from Belarus, aged 8 and 10. Our findings show that the incident took place when the boys picked up or tried to take the scooter from the man’s son, said Przemysław Słomski, the press officer of the Provincial Police Headquarters in Bydgoszcz.
He added that the children had managed to get out of the car, one of whom had “injured as a result of being abused by a 35-year-old.”

The man was arrested. – Three charges were brought against him: imprisonment, violation of bodily inviolability and bodily harm. From what I was able to determine, it appears that the man received prosecutor’s supervision. However, it was not a planned kidnapping – said the policeman.
As it turned out, the 35-year-old is a firefighter in the unit in Bydgoszcz. This was confirmed by Capt. Karol Smarz, the press officer of the KM of the State Fire Service in Bydgoszcz, added that when the commandant received this information from the police, he immediately suspended the officer in his activities for a period of three months.
