An unknown man attacked a foreigner in a city bus in Bydgoszcz. The driver decided to intervene, but also became a victim of the attack. This first spat on the driver and then threw a garbage can at him. The recording of the incident is now being published by the police and asked for help in establishing the identity of the attacker.
The incident took place on June 24 after 7 p.m. However, only now the police are publishing the video asking for help in finding the perpetrator. The man attacked on the city bus No. 57 near Rondo Kujawskiego in Bydgoszcz.
– A man, about 175 cm tall, wearing a black T-shirt and black pants, attacked the foreigner by hitting him with his head in the face. Help was provided by the bus driver, who was spit and hit with a garbage can by the perpetrator – says commander Przemysław Słomski from the Provincial Police Headquarters in Bydgoszcz.
He adds that as a result of the attack, the passenger had a cut lip and swelling in the eye area.

– We determine the perpetrator of this incident, therefore we ask people who recognize the man or can help in establishing his identity to contact the nearest police unit or by phone, 24/7 at the emergency number 112 – appeals Słomski.
