The liberals led by Prime Minister Marek Carney maintained power in the election that took place on Monday – said the Reuters agency. It is not yet known whether it will be a majority government.
Canadians chose 343 parliamentarians from single -mandate districts to the House of Commons. 172 places in the House of Commons are needed to create a majority government.
The Liberal Party won the elections to the Federal Parliament on Monday. For the first time in 114 years, liberals will rule the fourth term – said the Reuters agency.
