A 50-year-old driver detained by the police as part of the “Sober Morning” campaign in Kazimierza Wielka (Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship) had over half a per mille of alcohol in his body. The man was driving a school bus, taking 15 children to school.

On Monday (April 24) in the morning, the Policemen of the Traffic Team of the District Police Headquarters in Kazimierza Wielka carried out activities under the name “Sober Morning”.

According to staff sergeant Tomasz Darmoń, press officer of the Kazimierz police, a school bus was stopped for inspection a few minutes after 8 o’clock near one of the schools in the commune.

– During the activities, it turned out that the 50-year-old driver had more than half the legal alcohol content in his body. The irresponsible driver had 15 children on board the bus at the time of the inspection, the policeman said.
