The General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces published a photo of a burning oil terminal in the port of Caucasus in Krasnodar Krai, Russia. The ferry crossing was also the target of the attack.

“It happened on Friday morning, the next night after the defense forces landed accurate strikes damaged (two) ferries at the ferry crossing in Kerch. They ran to the port “Caucasus” and were used in the military logistics of Russian forces,” the General Staff of the Ukrainian Armed Forces said in a statement on Friday.

Under the staff's entry there is a photo of a burning oil terminal located on the bank of the Kerch Strait in the port of “Kaukaz” in the Krasnodar Krai in Russia.

Neptun missiles in action

The Ukrainian army revealed that it fired “several Ukrainian-made missiles belonging to the Neptun coastal missile complex” at the oil terminal. She also reported that explosions were heard at the site.

The staff reported that on the same night, the Ukrainian side attacked another oil terminal in the Krasnodar Krai, using attack drones. The location of the attack was not disclosed.

“Russian air defense turned out to be powerless against our missiles and drones and was unable to defend important facilities that were used for logistics and supplies for the Russian army. To be continued,” the Ukrainian military assured.

Pumping station fire

The Russian Astra Telegram channel reported that as a result of the attack on the port “Kaukaz”, there was, among other things, a fire at the pumping station and its employees were evacuated. Astra reported that the attack also targeted an electrical substation in the Krasnodar Krai, which is part of the so-called “energy bridge” leading to the annexed Crimea.
