The investigation we are conducting has several threads. Generally speaking, we are investigating whether in the years 2006-2009 crimes could have been committed by CBA officers, including the head and his deputies – said Krzysztof Kopania, spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Łódź, after the broadcast of the “Superwizjer” material “Sexmission of the CBA. Behind the scenes of the Vienna operation”.

In October 2009, seven high-ranking CBA officers left for Vienna. Although officially they were supposed to take part in a secret mission concerning corruption at the top of the government, the truth is completely different. As Tomasz Kaczmarek reveals, the purpose of the trip was the most famous Viennese brothel and a boozy weekend in the company of sex workers Madame Nina – a Viennese celebrity and owner of an exclusive club. Agent Tomek told “Superwizjer” reporters Maciej Duda and Łukasz Ruciński about the details of the trip. The report “Sexmission of the CBA. Behind the scenes of the Vienna operation” reveals the behind-the-scenes actions and pathology of power during the Mariusz Kamiński and Maciej Wąsik.

– The investigation we are conducting has several threads. Generally speaking, we are investigating whether in the years 2006-2009 there could have been any crimes committed by CBA officers, including its head and deputies, which consisted of exceeding their authority, certifying falsehoods in documents or inciting such acts – he said.

As he added, “a separate issue is the issue of possible disclosure of secret, top secret information resulting from operational activities by CBA officers.”

– Our interest includes operations involving the controlled purchase of real estate in Kazimierz Dolny in connection with the assumption that it was owned by the Kwaśniewski family, the controlled handing over of financial benefits in connection with the privatization of Wydawnictwa Naukowo-Techniczne to the president of its management board and Ms. Weronika Marczuk, and finally the controlled handing over of financial benefits to Ms. Beata Sawicka, a member of the Sejm of the fifth term from the Civic Platform list – Kopania listed.

– A separate, important thread of the investigation is the issue of the trip of a group of officers to Vienna in October 2009. We are also collecting evidence in this regard – he noted.

Digging on the issue of certifying falsehoods. “The situations differ slightly in relation to individual threads”

Asked about the issue of certifying untruth, Kopania said that “the situations differ slightly in relation to individual threads”. – In the case of operational and reconnaissance activities that we are investigating, it could consist in including false information in documents that are supposed to illustrate the course of these operations, inconsistent with reality, in order to obtain false evidence and initiate criminal proceedings against persons for whom the operations are conducted – he explained.

– However, in the case of the trip to Vienna, the certification could consist in providing false information in the documents related to this trip, inconsistent with the facts, in order to conceal the actual nature of this trip, i.e. to demonstrate that it was of a business nature, not private – added Kopania.

Kopania: materials provided by the editorial office of “Superwizjer” were attached to the files

When asked whether the former CBA management could face criminal consequences, the spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Łódź stated that “the subject of our findings is the issue of criminal liability not only of line CBA officers, but also of the former head and his deputies.”

– In this respect, we are collecting evidence. We want to collect evidence as soon as possible, which will be the basis for reliable conclusions. We still have to wait for this and here I kindly ask for your understanding. In the interests of the good of the proceedings, and above all considering that the vast majority of its materials are covered by confidentiality clauses, I cannot provide more detailed information regarding the actions we have taken, the evidence collected, the findings made or our intentions. However, the materials provided to us by the editorial office of “Superwizjer”, specifically earlier publications closely related to the subject of our proceedings, have been attached to the files – added Kopania.
