Let us recall: the ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip is to enter into force on January 19. The first Israeli hostages are to be released on that day. Thereafter, three hostages are to be released every seven days, with the final 14 in the last week of the first phase. The remaining hostages – 65 people – will be released when the parties agree on the second phase of the ceasefire. Negotiations in this case, they are scheduled to start about two weeks after the cessation of fighting.
Calculations by the Gazan Ministry of Health, controlled by Hamas, show that the war in the Gaza Strip has resulted in over 46,700 deaths and over 110,200 wounded.
