Wiesław Walendziak, as a member of the management board, will be responsible for the area of ​​information and journalism at Telewizja Polsat – he announced Polsat News. Wiesław Walendziak has been associated with Telewizja Polsat since its inception. In 1993, he served as the station's general director. In the years 1994-1996 he was the president of the management board of Telewizja Polska. Then he entered politics. In the years 1997-1999 he was the head of the Chancellery Premiere Council of Ministers in the government of Jerzy Buzek. In 1997 he became an AWS MP, and in 2001 he was re-elected Sejmthis time from the list PIS. In turn, in the years 2005-2013 he served as vice-president of the management board of the Prokom Investments SA investment fund, and since 2013 he has been employed as an advisor to the president of the management board of Polkomtel Sp. z o. o

Wiesław Walendziak sits on the supervisory boards of several companies

Walendziak currently serves on the supervisory boards of the following companies: Zespół Elektrowni Pątnów-Adamów-Konin SA, PAK Kopalnia Coal Brunatnego Konin SA, PAK Kopalnia Węgla Brunatnego Adamów SA, Comex SA, Muzo FM Sp. z o. o. and the Polish Television Operator.

In 2023, Telewizja Polsat recorded a unit revenue increase of 1.1%. (to PLN 1.78 billion), and net profit decreased from PLN 253.7 to PLN 128 million. The broadcaster's investment income decreased from PLN 143 million to PLN 53.52 million, they reported virtualmedia.pl.
