From July 1, the Mobile Student ID available in the MOBIATR application will become the basic document confirming the status of the student – the Ministry of Digitization said. Traditional ID cards, both physical and digital, will remain valid until the end of the date indicated on them.
“Student ID in the mobile will be common and available to all students and students in Poland. (…) All previous IDs – physical and digital – remain valid until the end of their date” – noted in a statement of the Ministry of Digitization.

Musegimacja added by default to a mobile
From July 1, Musegimacja will be added to the MOBIATR system by default. Now students must check its availability at the university, prepare the QR code and password for activation and scan the code or enter the password for the Mobcit application.
“This is another step towards modern, digital public services. Mobile ID will provide the same permissions as the physical card – with the difference that it will always be at hand, on the phone. Thanks to the agreement @Cyfra_Gov_pl and @Mnisw_Gov__PL Over a million students and students in Poland will gain easier access to their document. (…) We create a modern administration that replies to the real needs of young people ” – said the head of the Digitization Ministry Krzysztof Gawkowski in the post on platform X.
Milgimacy is an application in a smartphone confirming that the student has a student ID – it is its digital version and has the same legal power. This electronic document certifies, among others Rubs for discounts, for example reduced rail and bus crossings or cinema and theater tickets.
Physical cards at the request
– The digital ID will always be at hand – in the Mobatwol application. We are introducing student IDs in a mobile available to over a million students throughout Poland. I am very happy that together with the Ministry of Science and Higher Education we are taking the next step in digital documents and services – said Deputy Minister of Dyfitization Dariusz Standerski, quoted in a statement.
The Ministry of Digitization has announced that students will still be able to use physical processor cards (i.e. plastic with chip) – at the request.
