A 47-year-old man who came to one of the gas stations in the commune of Chełm (Lubelskie Province) had over two and a half per mille, where he wanted to buy alcohol. In addition, it turned out that he got behind the wheel without a license. The court will decide the man’s fate.

Senior Sergeant Angelika Głąb-Kunysz from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Chełm informed that the incident took place last Saturday (June 10) at one of the gas stations in the municipality of Chełm.

– The duty officer of the Chełm command received a report about an intoxicated man who came to a petrol station in a BMW car. As it turned out, his “unsteady” step did not indicate fatigue, the police officer said.

He blew over 2.5 per mille

It turned out that the 47-year-old man is completely drunk. According to the police, the breathalyzer test showed more than 2.5 per mille of alcohol in the body. In addition, the uniform determined that he did not have a license to drive the car. – As he explained, he came to the station because he had run out of alcohol – said Sergeant Głąb-Kunysz.

The 47-year-old spent the night in police custody. The court will decide his fate.
