Chicago museum fires all of it is largely White feminine, financially well-off docents for lack of range

The Artwork Institute of Chicago fired all of its educated volunteers and guides final month, who have been largely older White ladies, to diversify its workforce.

The Chicago Tribune’s Editorial Board even hit again on the museum’s determination, calling Stein’s termination letter to the docents as “weaselly.”
