One person was injured and taken to hospital after a bus broke through energy-absorbing barriers and entered a ditch in Chojnów on the A4. One lane on the highway is blocked.
The accident occurred on Saturday, November 2, around 7 a.m. The services received a report of the incident on the 75th kilometer of the A4 motorway towards Wrocław, before the Złotoryja-Lubiatów exit.
– The driver of the Mercedes coach hit energy-absorbing barriers and the vehicle drove into a roadside ditch. There were two drivers on the bus; One of them was transported to hospital as a result of his injuries, said the press officer of the Municipal Police Headquarters in Legnica, Commissioner Jagoda Ekiert.

The policewoman added that both drivers were sober.
