During the border control after the arrival of the plane from Tokyo, a 21-year-old Pakistani citizen presented his original passport, which contained a forged copy of the Italian border control stamp. During further activities with the man, the officers also found a forged Italian ID and an Italian residence document. Due to an attempt to cross the state border by fraud, contrary to the regulations, the foreigner was refused entry to the territory of Poland and an appropriate decision was issued for this purpose.

The man was also charged with an offense under Art. 264 § 2 of the Penal Code. in collection joke. 270 § 1 of the Penal Code. to which he admitted, but refused to provide explanations in the case. Procedural proceedings against the Pakistani citizen were carried out in the presence of an interpreter.

Art. 264 § 2. Whoever crosses the border of the Republic of Poland contrary to the regulations, using violence, threats, deceit or in cooperation with other persons, shall be subject to the penalty of imprisonment for up to 3 years. Art. 270 § 1. Whoever, in order to use it as authentic, counterfeits or alters a document or uses such a document as authentic, shall be subject to a fine, restriction of liberty or imprisonment from 3 months to 5 years.

Two Georgian citizens who presented for border control after the plane arrived from Kutaisi were not allowed to enter our country. Border control officers had suspicions as to the purpose of entry of Georgian citizens to Poland, so the travelers were directed to the second line of control.

“They did not provide appropriate documentation justifying the purpose, conditions of entry and stay, and did not have sufficient means of subsistence in relation to the period and form of stay they declared. They also did not have sufficient means for return. Moreover, Slovak ID cards were found in their possession, which turned out to be fake modeled on the original ones,” said the release of the Nadwiślański Border Guard Unit.

Foreigners were issued with decisions refusing entry, and preparatory proceedings were initiated against them for possession of forged documents.
