The authorities of the Bialystok University of Technology say goodbye to their employee, who is one of the victims of the plane crash in Chrcynno. “It is impossible to believe this tragedy. We mourn with his family” – we read in the message posted on the university’s website.
“It is with great regret and heartache that we announce that on July 17, 2023, Dr. Cezary Bołdak died tragically” – informed the Faculty of Computer Science of the Bialystok University of Technology in social media and on its website.

“It is impossible to believe this tragedy. We mourn with his family, to whom we extend our deepest sympathy,” the department wrote.
“We remember Dr. Cezary Bołdak as a wonderful, committed teacher, scientist, collaborator. Always smiling, cordial, kind and helpful. We will miss him very much” – emphasized the university.
Dr. Eng. Cezary Bołdak was a graduate of the Institute of Computer Science at the Białystok University of Technology, and he also became involved in science with this institute. According to the Bialystok University of Technology, he was the function of the Vice-Dean for Promotion and Cooperation of the Faculty of Computer Science of the Białystok University of Technology, for many years also the Chairman of the Faculty Committee for the Quality of Education. He received a medal for long service.
A tragic accident at the airport
The accident took place on Monday evening at the Aeroclub in Chrcynno near Nasielsk (Nowodwór poviat). Five people died and eight were injured in the plane crash.
