Chris Pratt is paying tribute to the late Antonio “Tony” McFarr

The Guardians of the Galaxy star shared an emotional message saying he is “devastated” over information that the Hollywood stunt double, who he labored with on a number of movies, was found dead in his Orlando, Fla., home on Could 13 at age 47.

“We did a number of motion pictures collectively,” Chris wrote in a Could 16 Instagram Story. “We golfed, drank whiskey, smoked cigars, and spent countless hours on set.”

The 44-year-old additionally highlighted Tony’s “toughness,” recalling a time when he “took a nasty shot to the top” throughout the filming of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and needed to get “a number of staples in his head.”

“He got here proper again to work able to go once more,” Chris continued. “He was an absolute stud. He was all the time a gentleman {and professional}.”
