A 32-year-old man was hospitalized after an accident in Chrząchówek on the S12 road towards Lublin. According to the police, the driver did not adjust the speed to the conditions, left the road and hit the energy-intensive barrier. A passenger in the vehicle was taken to the hospital. Police urge you to drive carefully.
The incident took place on Saturday (February 25) around 6 p.m. on the S12 road in Chrząchówek in the Puławy district, on the section between the Kurów Zachód junction and the Kurów Wschód junction.
Commissioner Ewa Rejn-Kozak, press officer of the Poviat Police Headquarters in Puławy, informed that the duty officer received a report that on the lane towards Lublin a passenger car hit energy-intensive barriers.
“Didn’t adjust the speed to the conditions”
– The preliminary findings of the policemen who performed activities at the scene show that the 32-year-old driver of the BMW from Szczecin did not adjust the speed to the conditions, as a result of which he lost control of the vehicle and hit the energy-intensive barrier – reports Commissioner Ewa Rejn-Kozak.

There were three people in the car. According to the press officer of the Puławy Police Headquarters, one of them was taken to the hospital with injuries. The driver and the other passenger were not hurt. The 32-year-old driver of the BMW was sober.
– We explain the circumstances of the incident and call for slower and more careful driving and adjusting the speed to the road conditions – appealed Commissioner Ewa Rejn-Kozak.
