Police officers from Prudnik (Opolskie Voivodeship) interrupted the dangerous driving of a BMW car driving along a provincial road at a speed of nearly 180 km/h. Behind the wheel sat a teenager without a driver’s license. He explained that he was in the process of moving and had to transport things.

The BMW driver was stopped on the Chrzelice – Ligota Prószkowska route.

“Prudnica traffic police officers in an unmarked police car noticed a driver who was driving much faster than allowed by the regulations” – inform the Opole police officers.

In a place where the speed limit is 90 km/h, the car was moving at a speed of nearly 177 km/h.

They cooled his pirate urges

“Officers immediately decided to cool down the pirate drive of the BMW driver and detained it for roadside inspection. It turned out that a 16-year-old resident of the Nysa district was behind the wheel of the car,” according to the Opole police.

A teenager without a license was traveling with a 17-year-old passenger. He explained to the police that he took the car without his parents’ knowledge, because he was moving and needed to transport things to Opole.

Police officers informed the mother of the 16-year-old, who arrived at the scene. Now the case will go to the family court, which will decide on the further fate of the young road user.
