They stopped him because he wasn't wearing a seat belt. It turned out that he shouldn't get behind the wheel at all, because he has two active driving bans. He faces up to five years in prison.

On Thursday, May 23, in Ciechanów at ul. Ciechanów traffic police from Płock noticed a BMW driver who was not using seat belts. They stopped him for a road check.

– While checking police databases, it turned out that a 33-year-old resident of the Ciechanów district should not have gotten behind the wheel at all. He has been issued with two court bans for driving motor vehicles issued by the District Court in Ciechanów – informs the Asp. Magda Zarembska from the police in Ciechanów.

Breaking the ban is a crime punishable by up to five years in prison. The 33-year-old will have another court appearance. He was fined and given penalty points for not using a seat belt.

According to the tariff, you will be charged PLN 100 and five penalty points.

We are reminding! An injunction is a punitive measure imposed in special circumstances, primarily against drivers who drive under the influence of alcohol, pose a threat to road safety or violate applicable regulations, e.g. by getting behind the wheel without a driving license. Breaking a court order is a crime, even if it was imposed as a misdemeanor.
