The climate crisis is “the greatest threat to the safety of our time”, as the Minister of Foreign Affairs said, Annalej Baerbock from the Green Party.
Five biggest threats
In her opinion, climate change destabilizes the situation, exacerbates conflicts against earth, water and food, and increase migration: “they also threaten everything that we have in our country.” – Those who allow climate protection to neglect, “threaten the basics of maintaining people, their prosperity, internal stability in Germany and Europe, and staff at a crap of global security” – warned Annalej Baerbock. Forced migration

Resource deficiencies and lack of food safety “would force increased migration.” There is also a threat of more international conflicts, which is an additional challenge for army. “At the same time, staff, infrastructure and equipment are increasingly exposed to more extreme climatic conditions, such as unique balance and heavy rainfall rain” – warn the authors of the report.
The weight of the Paris Agreement
