CNN’s Lemon balks as Cuomo calls Ocasio-Cortez a ‘poser’ for Met Gala gown stunt

CNN hosts Don Lemon and Chris Cuomo argued final week in regards to the efficacy of Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez‘s, D-N.Y., gown stunt on the Met Gala.

On their podcast “The Handoff,” Lemon gushed that Ocasio-Cortez’s attention-grabbing “Tax The Wealthy” gown was “excellent” for her message.

“And what she did was excellent. She went into the wealthy folks’s homes. You don’t get any richer and extra movie star and elite, if you wish to use that time period, than the Met Ball. “Everybody hangs out with the elite. Everybody who wants cash and a focus, the place do they go? To the elite for the cash and the eye. What’s she doing completely different than some other politician of some other ideology or political get together do,” Lemon mentioned.


Though the anchors disagreed on the efficacy of AOC’s gown, each males agreed that her affect stays largely within the media relatively than coverage.
