People around Julia Szeremeta claim that her coach Tomas Dylak and the entire staff are able to take the pressure off the boxer and are excellent at getting to her. The coach, whom we took for a walk to the Royal Łazienki Park in Warsaw, talked about how well this duo works, he also revealed how he shook up the boxer in a difficult situation and what their plans are for the near future. The whole conversation is below.
Dylak also told a story that happened to him once while walking in the forest.
“I had to drag him out even in my cadre clothes”
It was after returning from the games that coach Dylak had some time to finally spend time with his family. He went for a walk with his son in his hometown, Gostyń in Wielkopolska.
– My son noticed a small deer that couldn't get out of the river. I had to pull it out while still in my squad clothes – laughs the coach. As he adds, it's not the first time he has rushed to help in a similar situation.
– I often go for walks with my son, because he loves nature and it wasn't the first time we saved some animals – Dylak revealed.

Dylak has been working with the women's team since December 2021. At the beginning of the cooperation there was a conflict between him and Sheremeta, whom he knew from his junior days. The coach threatened that if the athlete did not pull herself together and did not start approaching boxing professionally, he would not call her up and would break off cooperation. Because he wanted to reach the top.
What was it about? Szeremeta had a relaxed approach to her sports lifestyle. She ate unhealthy food and cheated on training. The shock worked. Szeremeta believed her coach and changed radically – from her diet to her training. Now they form a harmonious duo.
