Two passenger cars, including a taxi, collided at the exit of the Poniatowski Bridge towards Wisłostrada. One of the drivers was taken to hospital, police said. There are difficulties.
As Rafał Markiewicz from the press team of the Warsaw Police Headquarters told us, the police received the report about the incident at about 1 p.m. – There was a collision between a Volkswagen and a Jeep. The drivers were tested with a breathalyzer, both were sober. The driver of the Volkswagen was taken to the hospital – informed the policeman. And he added: – The entry and exit on the Poniatowski Bridge are blocked.
Tvnwarszawa.pl reporter Mateusz Szmelter reported that the cars collided head-on. “They have badly shattered fronts,” he pointed out. The Volkswagen was a taxi, he said. He added that the incident took place at the exit of the Poniatowski Bridge from the Praga side.
