Heavy rainfall caused local flash floods in the city of Barranquilla in northern Colombia. A search is underway for a teenager who has been kidnapped by water.
Barranquilla is a city in the northern part of Colombia, located in the delta of the Magdalena River. On Friday, in some places, the streets turned into rushing rivers that even parked cars took with them.
The 15-year-old was declared missing after being kidnapped by water. The boy is being searched for.
There was also a strong wind, breaking and tearing up trees with roots that had fallen on cars parked nearby. A power pole fell over one of the cars.
