The UK “can not wait eternally” for a response from the EU to its proposals to vary the Northern Eire Protocol, Boris Johnson’s Brexit minister has warned.

Talking on the Conservative Get together convention in Manchester, Lord Frost mentioned the federal government was ready to invoke Article 16, designed for use when the protocol is unexpectedly resulting in severe “financial, societal or environmental difficulties”, over the row.
