Commenting on Donald Tusk’s proposal to amend the constitution addressed to Jarosław Kaczyński, Szymon Hołownia assessed that this idea “is dangerous”. – I would sincerely advise Donald Tusk to go further this way – said the leader of the Polska 2050 movement on TVN24. He described the proposal itself as “the concrete that Tusk needed” in his speech. – Only this particular thing will spread over the bones – he assessed.
The leader of the Poland 2050 movement, Szymon Hołownia, referred in “Kropka nad i” on TVN24 to the proposal of Donald Tusk, acting president of the PO, addressed to the PiS president, Jarosław Kaczyński. It is about joint amendment of article 90 of the constitution and adding a provision that the termination of an international agreement takes place by a majority of two-thirds of votes in the Sejm. This would, Tusk argued, “avoid the risk of Poland leaving the EU at night”.
Hołownia: Tusk’s concrete will spread to the bones
According to Hołownia, “this is an understandable political strategy or tactic.” – Donald Tusk tries to position himself as the only opponent of Jarosław Kaczyński, who throws the gauntlet at him and Kaczyński has to answer – he commented.
The leader of Poland in 2050 admitted that he had the impression that this idea “is dangerous”. – I would sincerely advise Donald Tusk to go further this way, because you do not exchange locks with a burglar – he added. According to Hołownia, the proposal to amend the constitution “this is the specificity that Tusk needed at the end of this speech: okay, I said that the European Union is important, that we are dealing with the most important things, now I will come forward with a specific”.
– Only this particular thing will spread over the bones – assessed Hołownia on TVN24.
