Construction of the CPK: The Prime Minister's Office announced that a new schedule for the construction of the CPK has been adopted. It assumes that the first stage will be launched by the end of 2032 CPK and High-Speed Railway airports between Warsaw, CPK and Łódź. Previously it was supposed to be 2030. Costs have also been updated – it was estimated at PLN 131.7 billion.
Plans update: The government announced that a “resolution was adopted amending the resolution on the establishment of a multi-annual program – 'Central Communication Port Investment Program. Stage II. 2024-2030, submitted by the Plenipotentiary Government for the Central Communication Port,” we read. Council of Ministers updated the “financial and time framework, as well as the conditions for implementing the intentions regarding the Central Communication Port for the years 2024-2032”.
Terminal to handle 34 million passengers: “The revised schedule assumes the launch of the CPK Airport by the end of 2032 with a terminal capable of handling 34 million passengers per year (…) In addition to the construction of the “Y” line (the KPD line from Warsaw through CPK and Łódź to Wrocław and Poznań), it envisages the continuation wash preparatory works for sections with a total length of approx. 800 km – I'm writing Central Communication Port on the X platform
Road investments: CPK adds that the spending plan assumes PLN 2.6 billion for roads with a length of approximately 90 km, whichthey will connect the CPK with the public road network. “The company's own contribution of PLN 783 million is planned for the development investments of Airport City and the Cargo City logistics hub,” says CPK.
Schedule: The company reminds that the previous version of the program, adopted in October 2023, covered the years 2024-2030. “The necessary update adopted by the current government was developed, among others, on the basis of detailed internal analyzes and a report on the examination of the current activities of the CPK company, which were prepared in 2024.” – we read in the announcement. Dariusz Klimczak, Minister of Infrastructureemphasizes that after the update, “work schedules that can be met” were adopted. – The financial assumptions of the program have also been made more realistic, which will allow us to proceed step by step implement the CPK project – he adds.
