Almost half of the bankruptcies (49 percent) were entered in the KRD two years before, and 61 percent were in the register on the day of the court judgment. As explained by the president of the debt collection company Kaczmarski Inkasso Jakub Kostecki, quoted in the KRD announcement, at the time of consumer bankruptcy, the debtor loses the possibility of free management of his property, because he passes under the management of the trustee. He draws up a list of creditors and conducts liquidation proceedings. The declaration of bankruptcy, however, does not eliminate all debts; You still need to pay back, for example, overdue maintenance, but it is the court that determines how these obligations will be regulated.
