There are seven countries on the UK “green list” of travelers that you can travel to without quarantine on your return, regardless of vaccinations. After the changes that will enter into force on Monday morning, 43 countries and territories will be on the “green list”, although some of them are small or hard-to-reach territories, while the “red” list will include 62.
Canada, Denmark, Finland, Lithuania, Switzerland, Liechtenstein and the Portuguese Azores archipelago were added to the list. In turn, Montenegro and Thailand were moved to the “red list”, ie countries after returning from which you have to undergo paid quarantine in one of the hotels indicated by the authorities.
After the changes that will enter into force on Monday morning, 43 countries and territories will be on the “green list”, although some of them are small or difficult to access territories, while the “red” list will include 62. All the others, including most European countries are on the “yellow list”.
Everyone can go to the countries from the “green list” without quarantine obligation upon return, regardless of whether they have been vaccinated or not. However, they all need to do one coronavirus test before returning to the UK and one on their return.
Poland among the countries on the “yellow list” of travelers
Fully vaccinated people can go to the “yellow list” countries, including Poland, without quarantine after their return, but they must also undergo the same tests. Unvaccinated people must be quarantined at home for 10 days when leaving for “yellow list” countries and three tests – one before return and two after (or three if they wish to reduce quarantine quarantine).
On the other hand, returning from the “red list” countries is associated with the absolute obligation of paid quarantine in a designated hotel, even if someone is fully vaccinated, and three tests. The cost of the quarantine, which lasts 10 full days, is £ 2,285.
In addition, from August 2, people who have been fully vaccinated in the European Union, EFTA countries (Switzerland, Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein), the United States, as well as Andorra, Monaco and the Vatican, can come to the UK without quarantine.
