In a rare conversation with the MP and vice-president of Law and Justice, Antoni Macierewicz, TVN24 reporter Radomir Wit asked about his assessment of the government’s actions in the face of the fourth wave of coronavirus. He asked questions on the run, in the parliamentary corridor. – This is the only government that does it effectively – said Macierewicz, referring to the strategy of the Polish authorities in the fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.

One of the questions concerned a bill allowing an employer to check whether an employee is vaccinated against COVID-19. Its assumptions were presented on Wednesday at a press conference by PiS MPs Czesław Hoc and Paweł Rychlik. When asked if he would support the law, Macierewicz replied: – Are you submitting such a law? Yes?

The journalist indicated that it was a project of his party colleagues, to which the PiS MP stated: – You see, they have submitted it. When I read it, I will be happy to answer you.

The TVN24 reporter also asked the vice president of Law and Justice how he assessed the government’s fight against the COVID-19 pandemic. “This is the only government that does this effectively,” was the reply.

Taking into account that there was no previous COVID-19 pandemic, Macierewicz replied: – You are right, but you talk so much about it and so fundamental matters that the government looks great against this background. Thank you very much.

After these words, the PiS MP disappeared behind the door.
