– Children often find themselves in a slightly different picture than adults, but the children’s wards are full at the moment – she added.

Stryczyńska-Kazubska on vaccinating children

When asked how to protect children from the transmission of coronavirus, she recalled that in a few days vaccination of children in the group of children over 5 years old will start. “In fact, we see this as a great opportunity for our little patients,” she said.

“It seems to be the best step,” she added. – Will this wave end as a result of vaccinating children? Probably not. Probably we adults who were able to get vaccinated earlier, we missed some part of it, so as not to lead to this situation. We hope that maybe there will not be another wave – she said.
