I took the third dose of the vaccine against COVID-19, said the head of the Civic Platform, Donald Tusk, in a recording posted on social media, reporting his visit to the vaccination point. The former prime minister announced that he would now feel safer. He reported that he did not have to persuade anyone at home to take the preparation. “Maybe because we all care so much about each other,” he assessed. I appealed: – If you love, you will strain yourself.
The leader of the Civic Platform, Donald Tusk, posted an entry on Twitter on Friday evening, with a short film covering his vaccination at the point operating at the Southern Hospital in Warsaw.
– Today is an important day for me, I am going for the third vaccination – announced the leader of the PO at the beginning of the recording. He explained that this moment is important to him not only because he will feel safer, but also because there will be Mikołajki in a moment. – It is a special day at my home, because the eldest grandson is called Mikołaj, so he has a name day – explained the former prime minister.
– We will be able to meet again in full circle, vaccinated – he added. Tusk also said that he did not have to persuade anyone at home, everyone was convinced to get vaccinated. “Maybe because we all care so much about each other,” he said.
Tusk: I just took a third, booster dose
– You can guess how much I love my children, my grandchildren, and that is why I am so glad and happy that everyone who is eligible is already vaccinated. I, too, have just taken a third, resembling dose – said Donald Tusk.
As he said, now everyone together, with the whole family, will be able to welcome St. Nicholas and spend Christmas together. – If you love, you will strain yourself – appealed the former prime minister.
Ministry of Health on infections and deaths
On Friday, the Ministry of Health informed about 26,965 new cases of coronavirus infection SARS-CoV-2. The ministry also said that 470 people suffering from COVID-19 have died. The number of active cases, i.e. Poles who are currently infected, is 447,067 and is the highest since the beginning of the epidemic.
Since the beginning of the pandemic, 3,623,452 infections have been confirmed in Poland, 85,126 infected have died. The spokesman of the Ministry of Health, Wojciech Andrusiewicz, after the release of Friday’s data, assessed that the dynamics of infections “is definitely declining”.
