The map of coronavirus infections in Poland shows that the largest number of infections from the beginning of the epidemic was confirmed in Mazowsze and Silesia, and the least – in the Świętokrzyskie and Opolskie provinces. On Wednesday, the website gov.pl informed about 1,657 new SARS-CoV-2 infections. Six more people with COVID-19 have died. In the period from July 7 to 13, 7,569 infections were confirmed. It is exactly 1082, while less than a month ago, on June 18, before the start of the uninterrupted increases, it was 170 infections per day, which is six times less.

A week ago, the Ministry of Health reported 964 confirmed infections. The number of infections today is 683 higher. That is an increase of 71 percent.

With 1,647 confirmed infections, the Ministry of Health announced 6,473 tests for the presence of the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus. This means that the infection was confirmed by every fourth test (25.4%).

The ministry said that six people with COVID-19 died last day. They all had comorbidities.

Coronavirus in Poland. How many vaccinations have been taken?

According to figures posted on the government’s vaccination site, it was announced by Wednesday 54 634 776 doses of different vaccines. The first dose was taken 22 739 938 vaccinations. They are fully vaccinated 22 519 910 people – vaccinated with a single-dose preparation of Johnson & Johnson or two doses of AstraZeneca, Moderna or Pfizer / BioNTech vaccines.

According to the information provided on the government website, until Wednesday was given in aggregate 11 962 991 booster doses of COVID-19 vaccines. This is the sum of injections in people who completed the primary vaccination course at least 180 days earlier, counting from the date of the last dose. This is the third dose for people who took the preparation from Pfizer / BioNTech or Moderna, or the second for people who took the preparation from Johnson & Johnson.

Vaccinations against COVID-19 – the most important information

July 13 health ministry said it was done 225 820 vaccination with the third supplementary dose – this number did not change from the previous day. These are people from the age of 12 who have immunity disorders and have already been fully vaccinated with a preparation from Pfizer / BioNTech, Moderna or AstraZeneka.
