The map of coronavirus infections in Poland shows that the largest number of infections from the beginning of the epidemic was confirmed in Mazowsze and Silesia, and the least – in the Świętokrzyskie and Opolskie provinces. Weekly report of the Ministry of Health

The ministry said that 12 patients had died from COVID-19, and 24 people had died due to the coexistence of COVID-19 with other diseases.

The ministry informed that over this period was completed 51.9 thousand tests for the presence of coronavirus. The ministry also said that he was in hospitals due to COVID-19 408 people (as of May 31).

Coronavirus in Poland. How many vaccinations have been taken?

The Ministry of Health announced that it was given by Friday 54 518 504 doses of different vaccines. The first dose was taken 22 723 608 vaccinations. It is fully vaccinated 22 501 063 people – vaccinated with a single-dose preparation of Johnson & Johnson or two doses of AstraZeneca, Moderna or Pfizer / BioNTech vaccines.

According to the information provided on the government website, they were given in aggregate by Friday 11 878 732 booster doses of COVID-19 vaccines. This is the sum of injections in people who completed the primary vaccination course at least 180 days earlier, counting from the date of the last dose. This is the third dose for people who have received the preparation from Pfizer / BioNTech or Moderna, or the second for people who have taken the preparation from Johnson & Johnson.

Vaccinations against COVID-19 – the most important information

On June 3, the Ministry of Health announced that it had been carried out 225 132 vaccination with the third booster dose. These are people from the age of 12 who have immunity disorders and have already been fully vaccinated with a preparation from Pfizer / BioNTech, Moderna or AstraZeneka.
