Coronavirus in Poland. Michał Dworczyk: we have exceeded 35 million vaccinations

The head of the chancellery of the Prime Minister, Michał Dworczyk, said on Sunday that the number of vaccinations performed in Poland exceeded 35 million. – Vaccinations are the best way to stop the next wave of coronavirus – he emphasized.

“We have exceeded 35 million vaccinations today. This is the best way to stop the next wave of coronavirus. We encourage everyone to take the opportunity to get vaccinated!” – Dworczyk wrote on Twitter.

Nearly 18 million Poles are fully vaccinated

Earlier on the government website it informed that over 17.8 million people are fully vaccinated in Poland, i.e. with two doses of preparations from Pfizer / BioNTech, Moderna and AstraZeneca, as well as with a single-dose vaccine from Johnson & Johnson.

In total, 46 170 230 doses have been delivered to Poland so far. Since December 27 last year, when vaccination against COVID-19 began in Poland, 161,555 doses have been disposed of. 14,109 vaccine adverse events were reported.
