Of all the deaths of people infected with the coronavirus, 6.73 percent were vaccinated people, their deaths are not related to vaccination, the Ministry of Health reported on Friday. The ministry stressed that only 1.41 percent of people fully vaccinated against COVID-19 were infected. Over 20 million people in Poland are fully vaccinated.
The health ministry said that 49,074 people died in Poland since the start of the vaccination with the second dose. The number of deaths in fully vaccinated subjects 14 days after full dose was 3,304.
“Among all deaths of people infected with the coronavirus, 6.73 percent were vaccinated. The deaths are not related to vaccination” – the ministry said on Friday afternoon.
Over 20 million fully vaccinated
Since the commencement of vaccination with the second dose in Poland, the SARS-CoV-2 virus has infected 2,134,098 people.
There were 288,761 cases of infections among fully vaccinated subjects 14 days after the full dose. “Only 1.41% of those who were fully vaccinated were infected. From the moment of starting vaccination with the second dose of 13.5% of infections, they were fully vaccinated” – informed the Ministry of Health.
There are 20 456 289 fully vaccinated in Poland, i.e. with two doses of preparations from Pfizer / BioNTech, Moderna and AstraZeneca or with a single dose vaccine from Johnson & Johnson.
According to data available on Friday evening on the government website “We vaccinate”, the latter number is even slightly higher – it amounts to 20,470,166 people.
