Coronavirus in Poland. New cases of infection and death – August 6

The Ministry of Health announced on Friday 172 new confirmed cases of coronavirus infection. The ministry also said that six people from COVID-19 had died in the last 24 hours. Since the beginning of the pandemic, 2,883,796 infections have been confirmed in Poland, resulting in the death of 75,281 people.

Most of the 172 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Mazowieckie voivodshipwhere noted 35 infection.

Minister of Health on possible restrictions

Minister of Health Adam Niedzielski spoke on Wednesday Fr. possible introduction of restrictions. He said he upheld the declaration that “areas with low levels of vaccination will be restricted first.” – Because there is a greater risk of coronavirus transmission – he explained.

Speaking about the restrictions, the minister of health indicated that “it will be the same sequence that we had to deal with before.” When can we expect such restrictions? – When there is a large number of infections, certainly exceeding a thousand cases a day – indicated the Minister of Health.
