Coronavirus in Poland. New cases of infection and death – September 12

The Ministry of Health announced on Sunday 476 new, confirmed cases of coronavirus infection. The ministry said that no one died due to COVID-19 last day.

Most of the 476 new cases of infection reported by the ministry were confirmed in the voivodeship Mazowieckiewhere noted 63 infections.

The remaining infections come from the following voivodeships: Małopolskie (51), Lubelskie (48), Łódzkie (45), Wielkopolskie (39), Podkarpackie (33), Dolnośląskie (30), Śląskie (29), Zachodniopomorskie (28), Podlaskie (22) , Kuyavian-Pomeranian (18), Pomeranian (17), Opole (14), Lubuskie (12), Świętokrzyskie (9) and Warmian-Masurian (5).

The health ministry said that 13 infections are data without specifying the address, which are to be completed by the Department of Health and Safety.

A week ago, on September 5, 324 confirmed cases were reported.

According to the Ministry’s data, no person died last day due to COVID-19.

The epidemic data report published on Sunday shows that:

6027 beds are intended for patients with COVID-19 (-5 compared to the previous day), – of this 675 beds are occupied by COVID-19 patients (+9), – 591 ventilators are intended for patients with COVID-19 (+1), – of which 85 respirators are currently in use (+3), – 68 974 persons are quarantined (-234), – 2 658 374 people recovered (+273).

Minister of Health on the level of infections

Minister of Health Adam Niedzielski this week it signaled that the dynamics of infections in the last few days was very high. If it persisted, he announced that the 1,000,000 infections would be expected to “not be at the end of September, but within the next two weeks.”
