On Friday, in an interview with TVN24, the spokesman of the Ministry of Health, Wojciech Andrusiewicz, admitted that “what worries us a lot is the scale of the occupancy of the beds”. – Mainly in three voivodships. In the Lublin region, it is over 41 percent of beds occupied, in the Podkarpacie region – over 33 percent, and Podlasie, which is on the border of 30 percent of the occupied beds, added to this group – Andrusiewicz mentioned. He reported that “there, the voivodes make decisions on increasing the bed base on an ongoing basis”.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Health noted that “at the beginning of the month we were talking about 6013 covid beds”. – At the moment we already have 6255 of them (as of Friday – editor’s note).
