The Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday 221 new confirmed cases of coronavirus infection. The ministry said that seven people suffering from COVID-19 have died in the last 24 hours. Last week, the health minister pointed out that “it is mainly people from the least vaccinated groups that get infected.”
Most of the 221 new cases of coronavirus infection have been confirmed in Mazowieckie voivodshipwhere noted 27 infection.
The remaining infections come from the following voivodeships: Małopolskie (21), Śląskie (19), Podkarpackie (18), Podlaskie (18), Lubelskie (16), Wielkopolskie (16), Dolnośląskie (15), Łódzkie (12), Zachodniopomorskie (11) , Pomeranian (10), Kuyavian-Pomeranian (9), Świętokrzyskie (9), Warmian-Masurian (7), Opole (3) and Lubuskie (1).
Nine infections is data without specifying an address, which are to be completed by the sanitary inspection.
Last Tuesday, the Ministry of Health reported 200 confirmed infections. In today’s report, the number of new cases it is 21 cases larger.
According to the Ministry of Health, the previous day died due to COVID-19 seven people, three of them had comorbidities.

The epidemic data report published on Tuesday showed that:
– 6039 beds are intended for patients with COVID-19 (+1 compared to the previous day), – of this 335 beds are occupied by COVID-19 patients (+18), – 580 ventilators are intended for patients with COVID-19 (unchanged) – from this 48 respirators are currently in use (-1), – 63 155 people are in quarantine (+762), – 2 655 543 people recovered (+102).
