Krzysztof Saczka, the head of the Chief Sanitary Inspectorate, was asked about the number of new confirmed cases of coronavirus infection. He announced that today the next highest number of infections will fall in Poland.
Acting Chief Sanitary Inspector, Krzysztof Saczka was a guest of Polsat News. When asked about the latest epidemic data, he replied that he did not want to anticipate the health ministry’s announcements. “But let me just say that today we will actually record the infection record,” he said.
Asked if these figures will be higher than the highest number of confirmed cases to date since the start of the COVID-19 epidemic – 40,876 new infections confirmed on January 22, Saczek replied in the affirmative.
