400 people signed up, “200 others who were not registered spontaneously came” – this was the case on Friday at the COVID-19 vaccination point at the Poznań International Fair. According to a spokesman for the facility, interest in vaccinations has increased significantly in recent days.

An increase in the number of people willing to vaccinate has been recorded in recent days by the largest vaccination point in Wielkopolska, i.e. the one located at the Poznań International Fair.

– We see a slight twitch, some positive breeze. So far we have vaccinated three days a week and there were 200, maximum 300 people who came to get vaccinated at our point. But for the past few days we have seen that there are more such people. An interesting example is Friday, when about 400 people were enrolled, but we actually vaccinated over 600. This means that in some spontaneous movement about 200 people came to the point without signing up beforehand – says TVN24 Bartosz Sobański, spokesman for the Clinical Hospital of the Transfiguration of Jesus in Poznań.

More willing for the third dose than for the first or second dose

On Saturday, the point at MTP was open until 1 pm. Today alone, around 600 people have declared their willingness to vaccinate. As the TVN24 reporter found out, over 80 percent of people who come for vaccination are people who want to take the third dose, i.e. the booster. – There are still more people willing to be vaccinated with the third dose than with the first one, but here you can also find the positive twitch mentioned by the spokesman for the institution. This is because 95 percent of those registered here were vaccinated with the third dose earlier. You can also see that there are simply more people eager for the first dose – reports the TVN24 reporter Nadia Jóźwiak.

Vaccinations at the point are held on Tuesdays and Fridays from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., and on Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. (today – November 27 – exceptionally until 1 p.m.). You can register in two ways:

– by phone – from Monday to Friday from 7: 30-20: 00; under the number: 61 646 33 44;

– by e-mail – by sending a message to one of the following addresses: Szczepieniaseniora@skpp.edu.pl, Szczepienia@skpp.edu.pl, Szczepieniamobilne@skpp.edu.pl, Zmianaaterminuszczepienia@skpp.edu.pl

In Poznań, it is also possible to get vaccinated, among others, at the Poznań Center for Specialist Medical Services. There has also been an increase in interest in taking a preparation against COVID-19. Up to now, there were around 400 people willing to get vaccinated weekly. This week the number has risen to a thousand. Pfizer and Astra Zeneca preparations are available there. Willing people may appear on Wednesdays and Fridays from 15:00 to 18:00.
