The fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic is escalating. The Ministry of Health announced on Sunday 4,728 new cases of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection. A week ago, the ministry informed about 2,523 confirmed infections. Today’s infection rate is 2,205 higher. That is an increase of 87 percent.


Anna Piekarska on the recommendations of the Medical Council

A member of the Medical Council at the premiere, Professor Anna Piekarska was asked in “Fakty po Faktach” whether restrictions should be introduced for people who are not vaccinated against COVID-19. – We recommend it for a long time – she said, adding, however, that “the Medical Council is what it is, that is, an advisory body, not a decision-making body”.

– We recommended in writing that all medical workers must be vaccinated, because while doctors are vaccinated in 90%, lower staff is not necessarily vaccinated. We recommended that teachers and people working in the trade must be vaccinated, she said.
