The leader of Poland in 2050, Szymon Hołownia in “Fakty po Faktach” referred to the epidemic situation in Poland in the context of the Austrian authorities’ plans to introduce a lockdown for unvaccinated people. – It must be clearly stated that lockdown, despite the fact that the government shuns this word, already exists in many places in Poland – he said. As he added, he means “schools or kindergartens”. He also presented the position of Poland 2050 regarding the employer’s right to verify the vaccination of the client and the employee.
Austria plans to introduce a lockdown for unvaccinated people. On Thursday, Chancellor Alexander Schallenberg presented the roadmap, and final decisions will be taken on Sunday. In Austria, the number of coronavirus infections has increased sharply in recent weeks.
In Friday’s “Fakty po Faktach”, the leader of Poland 2050, Szymon Hołownia, was asked about this issue in the context of Poland.
– It must be made clear that lockdown, although the government shuns this word, already exists in many places in Poland. From those who didn’t get vaccinated or who got sick anyway, he said. As he added, he means “schools or kindergartens”. – There are dozens or even hundreds of institutions in which parents are wondering what to do in a situation when children have to enter remote learning again – he said.
– Of course, the government hides it, the government will not talk about it loudly, because it is afraid that the part of its electorate, which is already affected by inflation, high prices and many other problems, will not forgive them – he added.
Hołownia: Poland 2050 supports the employer’s right to verify that the client and the employee are vaccinated
Szymon Hołownia said that Poland 2050 is “in favor of such a solution that would give entrepreneurs and service providers the right to verify whether their client or employee is vaccinated or not”.
– It would not be obligatory, but we want to give such a right. Because it is the employers that will allow, for example, to arrange the changes in such a way as to minimize (the risk – ed.) Of plant closure, bankruptcy and job loss – he said. – Entrepreneurs who ran a service premises such as a cinema or restaurant, this will protect customers and employees – he added.
– In our opinion, such a law should be introduced in Poland during this summit, but in the conditions of the fourth wave of the pandemic – emphasized Hołownia.
