The Ministry of Health said on Friday that only 0.082 percent of people fully vaccinated against COVID-19 had been infected. Among all deaths of people infected with the coronavirus, 1.81 percent were vaccinated people, the ministry said.
The Ministry of Health reported that 39,614 people have died in Poland since the beginning of the vaccination with the second dose. The number of deaths in fully vaccinated subjects 14 days after full dose was 719.
“Among all deaths of people infected with the coronavirus, 1.81 percent were vaccinated people. The deaths are not related to vaccination” – the ministry said.
MZ: Only 0.082 percent of fully vaccinated people became infected
Since the commencement of vaccination with the second dose in Poland, the SARS-CoV-2 virus has infected 1,419,075 people. 16,104 cases of infections were reported among the fully vaccinated subjects 14 days after the full dose.
“Only 0.082 percent of those who were fully vaccinated were fully vaccinated. Since vaccination began with the second dose, 1.13 percent of all infections were fully vaccinated,” noted the Ministry of Health.
There are 19,404,212 people in Poland fully vaccinated, i.e. with two doses of preparations from Pfizer / BioNTech, Moderna and AstraZeneca or with a single-dose vaccine from Johnson & Johnson.
